all and holiday on Stanley Island. Stanley Island Log Cabins
are nestled in the enchanting St. Lawrence Valley with a view of
the Adirondack
mountains to the south. Whether you like to stroll along the
waters edge, or sunbathe in a secluded beach area, this
destination offers you the relaxation of an Island get-away.
For those wishing to tour the island, wildlife habitats, or fish
the waterways, boat rentals are available. Of special interest
to bird watchers is Dickerson Island, the sanctuary for the Great
Blue Heron and five other species of heron.
Stanley Island has ten two-story log homes overlooking the
seaway. Each cabin is equipped with kitchenettes, dining, living,
bedroom, and bathroom facilities. The cabins are comfortable,
spacious and furnished with modern pine furniture and a cozy
wood stove. Located just twenty minutes east of Cornwall,
Ontario on the Canada/US border, these cabins can be rented on
a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
