Established in 1958 and headquartered near Toronto, Canada, Ecodyne Limited is one of the world's long-experienced water technology companies, who designs and manufactures water treating equipment and cooling towers. The company is divided into two groups to serve the various markets: Ecodyne Water - water treating equipment; Ecodyne Cooling - cooling towers, upgrades and repairs. Ecodyne employs approximately 70 people in Canada and has sales representatives in Canada, the United States and United Kingdom.

A large team of experienced engineers and project managers enables Ecodyne to undertake large projects and meet complex specifications. Ecodyne's commissioning personnel start up or trouble shoot, at the client's request, the water and waste water treating plant and cooling towers and are able to resolve chemical, mechanical or electrical difficulties, including modification to PLC programs. Ecodyne's drawings are prepared on Computer Vision Medusa CAD system consisting of 12 SUN Micro System workstations. In addition, Ecodyne has 5 seats of PTC's Pro/E which are being implemented to automate 3-D mechanical designs and drawings. An AUTOCAD translator system is also available. Ecodyne has the full capability to program systems and create graphics packages designed to client's needs. Ecodyne's video conferencing equipment enables it to have timely, effective and comprehensive 'face to face' communications with its customes and suppliers around the world.
