The company founders were aware that scientists over the years had isolated and identified many beneficial species and strains of naturally occurring microbes for the accomplishment of such tasks as plant growth stimulation; plant and soil disease control; bioremediation of contaminated soil and water; manure odor reduction; sewage treatment and industrial composting. Yet, many of these microbial discoveries were known to be languishing on laboratory shelves as scientists lacked the technical means to effectively deploy microbes under field conditions.
MISSION STATEMENT
The companys goal is to provide an economical means to deliver robust consortia of beneficial microorganisms in an organic substrate for the accomplishment of many tasks presently addressed by harsh chemicals that are dangerous to humans, animals and the environment.
