ELNOS is a community-based financing organization. Established in 1991 with $23 million, the mandate is to partner with businesses looking to establish, relocate or expand. Ultimately our goal is to diversify the local economy which has been permanently changed by the closure of the local mining industry. ELNOS is geographically restricted to the City of Elliot Lake, the Town of Blind River, the Townships of the North Shore and Shedden, and the Serpent River First Nation.
Our approach is flexible and includes equity financing, debt financing and various forms of business assistance to facilitate establishing or expanding a business in the ELNOS Region.
