Durham Business and Computer College is a Private Vocational School that is Registered and approved by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities of Ontario. Delivering quality educational services for 20 years. We specialize in providing training in Business, Computers and Health Care and are an authorized testing centre for MOS/VUE. Our campuses are located in Pickering and Scarborough region and are easily accessible by public transit.

We have the most recent version of software available and our programs are customized to meet the educational needs of our clients to ensure that they acquire the necessary technical skills to remain competitive in the labour market. Our ergonomically designed classrooms are fully instructor-led and clients with special needs can be accommodated by providing a customized workstation, flexible schedules, one on one tutoring and additional time as required to make their learning experience both comfortable and positive. We also have a ten to one student/instructor ratio, so that each student can receive the individual attention they need to be successful in their studies.

Our instructors have extensive industry experience in their area of specialization and are fully certified to teach the adult learner. Their teaching methodology is practical in nature and is based on the adult learning principles to meet individuals learning style. Teachers monitor students attendance and academic performance on a daily basis and since I am aware of the clients obligations while in training, I will ensure that attendance records and progress reports will be submitted on a monthly basis to case managers. We will also provide an office for both the case manager and student to discuss their progress at our facility. If there are any concerns or changes in their schedule, it will also be reported immediately to their case manager.

We are proud to announce that 93% of our graduates have been extremely successful in attaining employment in their chosen vocation. Students have reported that our employment resources, solid network of contacts and ongoing support have assisted them greatly in their transition to the workforce. Our employment specialist continues to update our job search tools and resources to establish new employment contacts to assist in the placement of our graduates.
