Downs/Archambault & Partners is a partnership for the professional practice of architecture, city and regional planning. The firm was established in 1969 and has, through its principals, directed the design and production of more than five hundred and fifty million dollars worth of building construction. Projects range from those of domestic scale to those of much greater complexity including multiple housing projects (private and public), community services, institutional and commercial designs and master planning for neighbourhood, civic, and regional development.

Having grown on a residential and institutional base, the firm has lasting concerns for architectural and planning solutions that satisfy the physical and emotional needs of the individual and his relationship to site and to nature. These concerns have led in recent years to large scale planning work, institutional, commercial and residential projects. Healthcare projects include Yaletown House, 130 bed intermediate care facility in Vancouver.
