The company is structured on the notion that the business of creating images for print, broadcast, film, multimedia and the web has been forever transformed by digital technology. Digital Pictureworks was founded on this principle eight years ago and continues as a pioneer in this forever changing technology. We are a Winnipeg based facility who specializes in 4 key areas of this digital technology. 3D/2D Animation, Graphic Design, Multimedia and World Wide Web presence. We also provide a full spectrum of hardware/software solutions for intense graphic environments as well as acting Beta test site for several software packages. All of our work is produced from initial conceptual phases down to the finished product.
Digital Pictureworks is considered to be one of the largest producers of computer-generated images in Manitoba. No receptionist, no suits. Just a team of individuals who dedicate many long hours towards achieving 'coolness'. We thrive on it!
We produce world-class animation and visual effects, & graphic design for television networks, commercials, advertising agencies, multimedia, and WWW URL's. Digital Pictureworks is also currently designing custom home pages and user interfaces for business that are exploring ways of using the Internet to maximize exposure and commercial possibilities as well. DPW has been honoured with several awards for conceptualizing, designing and producing computer graphics, animation, special effects and graphic design for the entertainment, commercial and advertising industries. We haven't received an Emmy or Clio yet but we're working on it!
Our CGI department is expanding rapidly. We are creating animated creatures and special effects for independent projects as well as a proposed series and games. Although known mostly for computer graphics works, we also produce live action television commercials and corporate videos.

We have everything from UNIX to Dual Pentium II 300mhz NT Work Stations to Hollywood DPS Cards. S-VHS, and Betacam SP decks are used for mastering your custom animation or videos. All our Work Stations are networked though Windows NT and Novell. We are jacked in to the NET with T1 and running 100 Ethernet and have over 50+ Gigs of storage.
Digital Pictureworks uses Alias Power Animator, Softimage, Adobe Photoshop/After Effects, 3DS MAX2, Elastic Reality, Adobe Premiere as well as man other pieces of software both home grown and commercial.
