Deltaplast extruder have separate thrust bearing and gear reducer housing assemblies. This separation of oil baths for both gear reducer and thrust bearing eliminates the possibility of related damage or failure through oil cross contamination. The result is increased durability and lower repair or replacement costs. A removable and replaceable bimetallic feedbox liner protects against accidental damage or long term wear, while eliminating possible replacement of the entire extruder barrel or feed throat housing. This innovative design minimizes your downtime and expense. Our 'unitization' concept saves you space, installation costs, and time. All controls, including the drive converter panel, electrical panels and transformers are prewired and mounted directly onto the unit's base.
At Deltaplast, we don't limit ourselves to standard extruder designs. Our engineering capability gives us the flexibility to custom build specialty designs based on your needs. For example, should you have an existing competitor's screw inventory, Deltaplast is able to supply extruders which will accept competitive screw shanks. Variation in extruder centerheights, limited plant space and right-to-the left -to right gearbox configurations are also available.
