Datex EX 3PL is a warehouse management system designed specifically for third party logistics providers. Our 3PL WMS provides activity-based invoicing to clients based on a client profile and is powered by real-time order, inventory and transportation information. Datex EX 3PL comes with a fully integrated bridge to accounting systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications, allowing you the maximum in flexibility and integration capabilities

3PL Module Features

The system records transaction activity and automatically calculates billing charges for inbound handling and storage as well as renewal storage.

Additional charges can be added either during receiving, order shipment or independently at any time during the month and accounted for in a later report generation.

Billing profiles are specific to each combination of client and product i. e. two clients may store the same product, but be billed in completely different ways.

The Datex EX 3PL activity tracking and costing module tracks function codes and work performed for both Datex EX activities and non-system activities. Other 3PL features include client/master files, catalogs and the ability to generate invoice files and added reports. The added features of Datex EX web-enabled tools provides more flexibility to 3PL clients.

Task code rates based on Datex EX function codes and non-productive task codes. Storage charges based on cubed consumption as of selected date or average specified period Freight charges based on Datex EX FM calculated rates for shipments, plus client surcharge. Specific items may be tied to specific clients. Inquiries and reports by client will access only those items. Web-based inquiry tools, order entry, etc. can be set to only access and display the client catalogue based on the user profile.
