DammWrite! Consulting and Communications, based on the Chippewas of Nawash First Nation at the Cape Croker Reserve in Southwestern Ontario, was formed in 1993 by Kateri Akiwenzie-Damm, the owner and Principal Consultant for the company. DammWrite! offers comprehensive consulting, writing, editing, research, training, communications planning and conference coordination services locally, nationally and internationally. With years of experience working with First Nations and mainstream client groups, the owner and the company have developed a solid reputation for the timely delivery of top quality work that meets the needs of clients in a culturally relevant, appropriate manner while employing First Nations approaches and perspectives.
