She has had a young adult novel, Quicksilver Summer published by Roussan Publishers, Inc., short listed for a provincial award, has had a third prize and an honourable mention in the Drama section of the Newfoundland Arts and Letters competition. A number of magazines has published her fiction and nonfiction articles.
She conducts writing and financial workshops at schools and in other venues and participates or arranges readings for authors. To date, she has read in eight provinces.
As an active member of local, provincial and national writing associations, she promotes writing and writers especially at the grass roots level. Playing a major role in collecting, creating, publishing and distributing three anthologies for the local group, Page One has been particularly exciting.
