DALSA Technology Goes to Mars
DALSA's Semiconductor Division manufactured the CCD Image Sensor chips onboard the two Mars Exploration Rover (MER) missions. The space-qualified chips, which are part of the sophisticated camera systems for navigation and scientific investigation, were designed in collaboration with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena.
The International Space Station Succeeds With DALSA Technology
The Canadarm2 Space Station is using DALSAs world-class camera technology for its electronic eyes which allow the Canadarm2 to see and function from 300 km above the earths surface. Currently, there are four DALSA cameras located on the Canadarm2.
DALSA Sensors Used for Broadcast
DALSA's advanced technology is being used to exclusively capture internatioal world events including the 2004 Olympics and the 2004 Eurocup.
The World's Highest Resolutions and Speeds
DALSA's Piranha3 camera series introduces the world's highest resolutions and speeds with 8k and 12k resolutions and line rates of up to 33kHz and 23kHz. The Piranha3 cameras target the throughput demands of next generation flat panel display and electronics manufacturing inspection.
