CDS was incorporated in 1986 with a primary mandate to develop, market and manufacture thermal hydrolysis technology for the treatment of cyanide in industrial wastewater's. In 1998, CDS has approximately 40 operating systems throughout Canada, the USA, Ireland, South Africa and Israel.
The CDS Thermal Hydrolysis System takes advantage of a naturally occurring chemical reaction between water and cyanide, in which cyanide is decomposed to ammonia, formate and carbonate. Major advantages of the system are that all complexes of cyanide are destroyed and no chemicals are required.
CDS also owns and operates a Government permitted facility for the treatment, storage and disposal of cyanide wastes. Recovery of precious metals from cyanide and other solutions, and from electronic scrap, is also conducted at this facility.

CDS OPERATES A CYANIDE WASTE TREATMENT FACILITY. WE ALSO ACCEPT PRECIOUS METALS SOLUTIONS & ELECTRONIC SCRAP FOR RECOVERY
The CDS Thermal Hydrolysis System is the most effective cyanide treatment method available anywhere, able to destroy all complexes of cyanide, including iron. The major competing process, based on chlorine, does not destroy all cyanide complexes, and also generates undesirable chlorinated byproducts. The CDS process does not use chemicals, and avoids these problems.
Cyanide treatment, precious metals recovery services.
