B. - Osgoode Hall Law School (1985) Admitted to the Ontario Bar (1987) Prior to joining Crossan Associates, practised with several firms in the Toronto area, including Perkins, Kenney & Ballard and Loopstra, Nixon and McLeish in Etobicoke from 1987 to 1993 (Perkins., Kenney & Ballard merged with Loopstra, Nixon & McLeish in 1988), Damiani & Associates in Concord from 1993 to 1995 and as a sole practitioner in Toronto from 1995 to date. Member of the Business Law Section Executive, Canadian Bar Association - Ontario since 1992. Contributing editor to Business Beat newsletter for the Business Law Section, Canadian Bar Association - Ontario. Practice has been restricted largely to corporate-commercial law and real estate, including acting in secured transactions under the Personal Property Security act as well as mortgage financing.
LARRY CROSSAN Prior to founding Crossan Associates in 1995, Larry practised with two of Canadas national law firms, including five years on Bay Street and four years in London. Larry is admitted to the Bars of New York and Ontario and has been a lecturer in the Business Law section of the Bar Admission Course since 1991. His education includes a B. Comm. from McGill and LL. B. and M. B. A. degrees from Western. Before entering law full time, Larry worked in banking, corporate finance and hospitality. His business experience and education allow him to be a valuable advisor to businesses of all types. Larry has been recognized as a Certified Specialist in Corporate and Commercial Law by the Law Society of Upper Canada..
