Scadaserver
SCADAServer is an OPC (OLE for Process Control) server that manages communication between products from a wide range of vendors. This powerful technology allows makers of HMI software and custom application developers ensure seamless communication with field hardware, including Control Microsystems SCADAPack PLCs. As a process control server SCADAServer manages both OPC data servers and OPC clients. The OPC data servers form the interface between custom protocols or hardware, and HMI software or custom applications. The OPC clients are the programs that use the data and provide control information to field devices. Clients can include Control Microsystems TelePACE and IEC 61131-3 development environments, TelePACE Firmware Loader, and the RealFLO gas flow computer applications as well as many other third-party products. The OPC Automation interface also allows clients such as Visual BASIC and Delphi applications to access the OPC server. SCADAServer Host auto detects LAN or serial connections with no flow control or RTS/CTS flow control. Dial-up serial ports are also supported. The SCADAServer Host supports all of the following protocols found in the TeleBUS suite: Modbus/TCP Modbus/UDP Modbus RTU in TCP Modbus RTU in UDP Modbus ASCII in TCP Modbus ASCII in UDP

Easy to install and operate, any Modbus master can access and control a large number of these transmitters. With a 2-year warranty, and the support of Control Microsystems comprehensive customer support program, this transmitter is a natural choice for a wide variety of gas, water and industrial applications.

Series 5000 Expansion & Communication Modules
The SCADAPack Series of controllers are powerful on their own but are also expandable through the Control Microsystems 5000 Series of I/O Expansion and Communication modules. Starting with as few as 11 process I/O points, any SCADAPack controller can be expanded to have over 700 process I/O points. Communications and connectivity options are also flexible with a wide range of Modems, Interface and Gateway modules.

Scadapack Vision
The SCADAPack Vision is a compact, panel-mounted operator interface terminal designed for use with SCADAPack controllers. It reads and writes data to the controller via an RS-232 port. A two line, 32-character LCD displays the data on a series of screens. Seven function buttons are available to navigate through these screens, enter data or control power to the unit. Data-display screens and button functionality are user-defined in applications created with the companion Vision configuration software.

Scadapack Vision50
The SCADAPack Vision50 provides an expanded operator interface for use with the Control Microsystems SCADAPack line of controllers. The product is easily configured to display process variables and to permit modification of any controller parameter. With a 4 line by 20 character display and 20 function keys, the SCADAPack Vision50 is well suited as the next step up in the SCADAPack Vision family of Operator Interfaces.

Telepace Relay Ladder Logic (s/W)
TelePACE is Control Microsystems proprietary programming environment. This easy to use software package allows users to develop relay ladder logic networks for use in SCADAPack controllers. The software runs on Windows NTTM, Windows 98TM and Windows 95TM platforms. The TelePACE environment was designed with ease of use in mind. The TelePACE Ladder Editor allows the programmer to assign tag names to process I/O addresses and data registers. With drag and drop control, the programmer can place a wide array of functions in the ladder network including: contacts, outputs, counters, PID controllers, HART interface functions and more. Once complete the programmer can upload the application to the SCADAPack controller through a direct or network connection. Using the online monitoring function a field engineer can edit the program while online, providing a highly efficient debugging environment.

Iec 61131-3 (s/W)
IEC 61131-3 is the first global standard in control programming. By standardizing the control system interface this programming environment complements the manner in which technicians and engineers design, program, operate and maintain industrial control systems. The IEC 61131-3 software package includes the five main languages: Sequential Function Chart (SFC), Instruction List (IL), Ladder Diagram (LD), Function Block Diagram (FBD), and Structured Text (ST). In addition to these languages a sixth, called Flow Chart (FC) is included. This sixth language is graphics based and is used to describe sequential operations in an application. The choice of which IEC 61131-3 language is used for development is based on the nature of the application and user preference.

C And C++ (s/W)
Multitasking C and C++ For customized communication protocols or highly complex algorithms, nothing provides greater flexibility than the optional TelePACE C/C++ Compiler. This optional programming environment is used for applications requiring the highest level of programming versatility such as custom protocols, complex calculations, data logging and more. Much like the TelePACE environment, compiled programs can be loaded into a SCADAPack controller over the communication network and can run concurrently with either TelePACE Ladder Logic or IEC 61131-3 programs.

Modbus (protocol)
Considered the industry standard, the Modbus protocol is a messaging structure used to establish master-slave/client-server communications between intelligent devices in a network. Control Microsystems products support this protocol and its two serial transmission modes, ASCIII and RTU. Using any of the Control Microsystems configuration environments the user simply selects the desired Modbus mode and the serial port parameters that will be used for communication.

Dnp3 (protocol)
The DNP3 protocol is also a standards-based, open protocol, in this case managed by an international user group. The protocol has a rich set of functions and was designed to work well in a wide area network. The protocol uses an object-based application layer and supports multiple operating modes including: poll-response, polled report-by-exception, unsolicited response and peer-to-peer. DNP3 offers time synchronized and time-stamped events and has the ability to provide confirmation on both the data link and application layers.

Ethernet (protocol)
All of Control Microsystems SCADAPack and Flow and Pressure Measurement Products can communicate over an Ethernet LAN/WAN through the use of either an integrated or stand-alone Ethernet module. The modules, which provide an interface between serial and Ethernet networks, convert Modbus RTU or ASCII protocols to Modbus TCP, Modbus TCP in RTU, Modbus UDP or Modbus UDP in RTU. The network protocols available through the Control Microsystems Ethernet module include IP:ARP, TCP, TFTP, UDP and ICMP.

Telebus Suite
The SCADAServer Host supports all of the following protocols found in the TeleBUS suite: Modbus/TCP Modbus/UDP Modbus RTU in TCP Modbus RTU in UDP Modbus ASCII in TCP Modbus ASCII in UDP
