Coam Trading House Inc. was founded on the first day of October 2001 by Doewon Song and Hyunsoo (Steve) Kim under the laws of the province of British Columbia. The first main business was to export a variety of North American pet products to S. Korea as an international distributor, who resold the products primarily to national distributors in Korea. In an effort to develop the Korean market more successfully, we set up a branch office, Coam Korea, in Korea in November 2001. Through Coam Korea, we supplied almost all kinds of pet products to national distributors, regional distributors, retailers and consumers in Korea. From mid 2003, Coam Trading House began to develop new markets such as China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan with pet products while securing sales networks and business partners in each target country. Throughout almost all-year-long business restructuring, from late 2004, we not only expanded our service coverage into Export management(consulting/agency/international distribution), Import management (consulting/agency) and Procurement agency service for foreign buyers, but also widened our specialty area into steel products and raw materials for steel production.
