Conversion Services
Migration Assessment
Helps identify the migration issues unique to a specific
environment. A migration assessment estimates the resources,
time and cost needed for a migration project.
Migration Planning Service
A migration specialist leads a joint client / CipherSoft team
that develops a migration plan detailing the tasks, target dates
and people assignments.
Conversion Tools Services
Conversion tools are used to automate 80-100% of the translation
from one format to another, thereby reducing the time and errors
involved in the conversion.
Migration Implementation Services
Assistance is provided in the actual implementation of migration
services and includes:

to each client, and is responsible for contact with clients
throughout the lifecycle of their project and beyond. The
objective is to provide a quick turn-around of any issues that
may arise and ensure that the project moves forward in an
efficient manner.

Technical & Training Support
Technical & Training Support Services
With facilities in the Canada, U.S., and UK, CipherSofts
technical and training support staff is well equipped to respond
to issues in a timely manner. When issues need internal
escalation, a combination of increased levels of expertise along
with higher levels of services management are employed, to match
problem severity with problem resolution. The entire process is
designed to assist you in an efficient, timely manner and bring
resolution to your issues.
Technical support is available from CipherSoft from 8:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m. CST, with the option for additional 24-hour support. A
toll-free line is available to all customers in North America
with a support agreement. A distribution channel throughout the
world supports clients outside of North America. CipherSoft
currently supports sites worldwide with remote diagnostics
through Internet capability.
CipherSoft offers training either at the clients site or at
CipherSoft's head office. This training can be done either on a
one-on-one basis or in a classroom environment. This training
includes specific training on conversion services, assistance
with conversion of clients from older releases of Oracle Forms
to new releases (Example: Release 4.5 to Release 9i assistance),
and Java University.
