Chorley & Bisset Ltd. was formed in 1973 by George W. Chorley,
P.Eng., and John B. Bisset, P.Eng. For many years, the firm has
been purposely maintained in the range of 16 to 22 people. This
has been found to be an effective size, enabling us to produce a
consistent quality engineering product. There are 6 professional
engineers on staff. Within the current staff, 9 are
shareholders.
The management group consists of Peter Golem, Vice-President;
Owen Glendon, President; John Bisset, Director and Robert Gordon,
Senior Electrical Engineer.
Activities of the firm over the past 23 years have involved two
main areas - engineering design for new construction and
renovations, and Energy Management. The majority of the design
projects haveinvolved commercial, institutional and industrial
buildings. Thefirm has also been widely involved in Energy
Management related to buildings. For over two decades, Chorley
& Bisset Ltd. has been recognized as a leader in the field of
building Energy Management.
