Company Overview
The Energy Conversion Engineering group has access to the scientific and engineering facilities of the University of New Brunswick. This includes a state of the art computer facility as well as conventional and advanced analysis techniques. The organization can not only provide research solutions for engineering problems but also contribute training and educational programs to various industrial organizations.
Formal, cooperative agreements exist between the group at UNB and international organizations such as the Institute of Physics and Power Engineering (IPPE) in Obninsk Russia and the CIDA chair in Nuclear Engineering at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. Currently, CD-ROM based educational courses on pertinent topics in power plant chemistry and engineering are being developed for overseas institutions. Visiting scientists from Asia are frequently working in the ECE Group, and international collaborative research programs are in progress.
