Chateau is primarily a government technology and development consultancy, specializing in turnkey web based applications and deployment to strengthen governments, particularly in emerging countries. Our cornerstone product is an intellectual process for developing comprehensive, country-wide multilingual web sites for both Internet and Intranet users.
In January, 2000 we launched a site for the Secretariat of Planning in the Office of the Presidency for the Government of Guatemala (www. segeplan. gob. gt). This was our first large scale web site project outside of Canada, and is leading to other projects in the Spanish speaking world.
We have completed several projects for Canadian government clients, includinmg National Research Council (Marine + Ocean virtual technology roadmap), Royal Canadian Mounted Police (Criminal Intelligence, Federal Services, Human Resources, Learning & Development, Youth Strategy), Industry Canada (geomatics virtual technology roadmap), and Natural Resources Canada (job matching).
Much of our work has been for the Government of Canada with such departments as Industry Canada, the RCMP and Natural Resources Canada, mainly on implementating Internet/Intranet pages and custom applications.
We are interested in working with all levels of governments in emerging countries, particularly in Central and South America and Caribbean areas. Our services include strategic planning, content development, translation, design, programming, testing, marketing and web mastering. In pertnership with leading Canadian consultants, we also offer geomatics services, products, and expertise, and are interested in developing web based geomatics applications. Our specialty can be called 'soft' infratsructure development, and we are involved in technology roadmaps, country development, and intelligent communities. As well, we are involved in high level executive branch consulting in areas dealing with economic development and promotion, foreign investment attraction, state modernization and automation, justice systems and online training, and social development consulting.
We have an established joint venture in Guatemala, and representatives in Panama and India.
