Charles Bateman and Company manufactures and wholesales liquid plant fertilizers to garden centres, flower shops, interior landscapers, etc. in Ontario. The company produces three different products, BOUNTY, TRUSTY, and STURDY. STURDY applied at the time of moving reduces the shock of transplanting in annuals, perennials, roses, shrubs, evergreens, and even difficult ornamental trees such as Mop Head Catalpa. BOUNTY provides the addition of Nitrogen to stimulate vegetative growth and is derived mainly from fish solubles and as such provides the perfect companion to STURDY, delivering a balanced food suitable for a wide range of plant material. TRUSTY was formulated for the plant grower who prefers to keep things very simple and use just one plant food with its balanced formulation. In addition to the three Bateman lines, the company also handles fine products from Wilson Laboratories Inc. and Safers Limited.
