The Company commenced business in 1956 and was incorporated in
- Its main activity is the manufacture of precast concrete
products serving the General construction industry, landscaping industry and Public Utilities. Central Precast is a CSA certified plant for architectural, structural and prestressed concrete. The Company, located at 25 Bongard Avenue Nepean, Ont, maintains a 55, 000 sf production facility which includes a fully automated batchingsystem, three interlocking paver machines capable of a combined daily output of 40, 000 square ft of pavers, one patio slab press and one vibrapress curb machine.
In 1985, Central Precast construicted a new 30, 000 square foot plant at 61 Bongard, for the production of concrete utility poles. In 1988, Central Precast expanded its operation by building a 45, 000 square foot pipe plant in Carp, Ontario. Following a steady growth pattern at these locations two new separate, Companies evolved. They are: -M-Con Products Inc. at Carp; Utility Structures Inc. at 61 Bongard Ave, Nepean.
The Company maintains a modern fleet of delivery trucks, which receive scheduled maintenance by its own competent team of certified mechanics.
The CENTRAL PRECAST GROUP OF COMPANIES employs a work force of 200 people and distributes its products throughout Ontario, Quebec, and New York
