CLST is a wholly owned subsidiary of Carleton Technologies Inc., which, in turn, is a U. S. subsidiary of Cobham of plc of Wimborne, Dorset, England.
CLST operates under Canadian federal charter, and manufactures, assembles, repairs, overhauls and tests life support equipment. Products and services are supplied to the Canadian Department of National Defence and industry, and are also exported to the world.
In 1997, Carleton acquired the assets of Fullerton, Sherwood Engineering Ltd., and in early 1998 integrated this entity into Carleton Life Support Technologies Ltd., as the Fullerton Sherwood Division (FSD). FSD will continue to develop and supply military rebreathers and diving equipment worldwide.
