Drill Rig Intercom
The featured products, which are called 'CRS104 & CRS206' will provide personnel in remote locations, access to telephone, fax and modem lines. They will be able to speak to each other, or people off-site as required. The system will also allow for emergency broadcasting of announcements critical to the safety of all personnel. They are based on a 'plug 'n go' technology. A central control console houses a mini-pbx (telephone dialing system) and a handset. Cables connect the control console to various locations throughout the site. At the other end, the cables are connected to either a simple desk phone, or to a phone designed to meet hazardous and extreme environmental conditions. External speakers and other auxiliary devices are used to amplify the ringing or paging in high noise areas or offer visual annunciation.
