One of the best ways to ensure that a young person can find meaningful employment upon completion of a course of study is to provide that person with an opportunity for an appropriate first work experience. The technology industry recognizes that first work placements are one of the most effective ways to strengthen work-ready skills and provide entry level experience to graduates. The Technology First Work Placement Service (TFWPS) provides subsidized placements in an industrial setting for up to twelve months. These placements provide graduates with an opportunity to apply their knowledge in practical settings, and to learn more about their day to day role as a member of the technology work force.
At the heart of Look Ahead, Get Ahead are 60 occupational Profiles. Each Profile Section contains a variety of detailed Profiles.
Professionalism in Practice is a self-study course, developed by CTHRB, as a guide for professionals and new graduates to understand ethical responsibilities and managerial performance realistically, and as an aid for experienced managers with the motivation to improve their performance.
