The CSCB represents the interests of its members, licensed customs brokers, to government; additionally, it distributes information, generally from government departments with an interest in customs brokerage, to members.
There are three classes of membership: corporate, associate (available to companies and organizations that are not licensed customs brokers), and individual (available to individuals who have passed the Customs Brokers Qualifying Examination). The CSCB provides correspondence courses designed to assist students in preparing to write the aforementioned examination.
