Canadian Institute for Photonic Innovations
The Canadian Institute for Photonic Innovations (ICIP/CIPI) is a
Network of Centres of Excellence devoted to the development of
photonics research activities in Canada. It brings together 90
university investigators different universities across Canada, collaborating with professionals from 50
companies and 13 research centers. The objectives of ICIP/CIPI
are to:
- develop a National Network for photonics research in Canada
- increase world class research performed in Canada
- accelerate technology transfer
- increase application in the fields of Information Technology,
Health Science, Environmental Science and Material Science.
