The processing of fish is usually a heavy user of fresh and salt water resources. Excessive use of water resources is not only environmentally unfriendly, but results in extra water costs, and increased effluent discharge. There are specific technologies and operational procedures applicable to the processing of fish product which will result in reduced water usage as well as reducing the contamination of wastewater. Canadian Fishery Consultants Limited (CFCL) has been designing, retrofitting, constructing and operating fish processing operations for the past 17 years in over 70 countries. This experience has resulted in proven technologies expertise related to the harvesting, storage, processing and marketing of fish products.
