Lead and implemented numerous comprehensive environmental impact assessment studies in relation to uranium and coal mining, power plants and other activities in agricultural, grassland and forest regions. Carried out studies on the effects of drilling wastes on soils and crops leading to the develpment of currently used guidelines. Developed the Province-wide rangeland and pasture assessment procedure presently used in the province of Saskatchewan.

He has over 35 years of experience in research and application in agriculture and environmental evaluation and solutions in the Northern Great Plains of North America. His International Experience included Ukraine, China, USA and Egypt. He has lead or implemented projects for Environment Canada, Parks Canada, Prairie farm Rehabilitation Administration, Canada-Saskatchewan Agriculture and Agri-Food Innovation, Saskatchewan Environment, Saskatchewan Energy and Mines, Saskatchewan Research Council and Saskatchewan Stock Growers Association. The results of his work and recommendations are being adopted by those clients in the form of guidelines and established assessment procedures. The Principal Consultant has received the Outstanding Achievment Award from the Society of Range Management in 2000. He has also been the recepient of the Distinguished Agrologist Award from the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists in 2001.
