SchoolNet provides Canada's teachers and librarians with tools
and resources to help students acquire cutting-edge skills in
information and communications technology. Canada's SchoolNet
with the help of its provincial, territorial and private sector
partners has helped connect Canada's schools and libraries to the
Internet - a global first. This access includes a satellite
infrastructure for our First Nations schools and other remote
schools and libraries.

SchoolNet's web site, an easy to use single platform for learners
and teachers to reach the power of the Information Highway, has
more than 1000 e-learning tools and resources that can be used in
the classroom or at home. The web site also offers the latest
research demonstrating the impact of technology on learning,
numerous connectivity solutions and interactive discussion
forums.
