CJP Architects was founded in 1954 and has grown to become one of British Columbia's most capable architectural firms. They are a complete architectural firm offering a full range of services in Planning, Architecture, and Interior Design. A great majority of the firm's completed projects are in the public sector schools, colleges, university facilities, government facilities at the local, provincial, and federal level, health care facilities, and facilities for recreation, culture and the arts. In the private sector, the company's specialties include corporate facilities, office renovation, and projects in the hospital industry.

The practice includes a full-service in-house interior design division, which allows clients a total comprehensive planning and design service, covering all aspects of a facility.

The company maintains a staff of over 40 people and has a branch office in Qualicum Beach to provide a base of operations for administration of Vancouver Island projects.
