Mdbus/Dnbus
These products are windows based front end drivers which permit data acquisition from a serial port into a DDE compliant client. The packages are for the MODBUS protocol and DANIEL subset respectively. Mdbus can be used to simulate a master or slave device plus monitor the serial data communications. They have been used extensively with Microsoft Access and Excel to provide a very cost effective data acquisition and display system.
