We offer two windows based communications software packages for data acquisition into any DDE compliant clients such as spreadsheets and databases. These products are windows based front end drivers which permit data acquisition from a serial port into a DDE compliant client. The packages are for the MODBUS protocol and DANIEL subset respectively. Mdbus can be used to simulate a master or slave device plus monitor the serial data communications. They have been used extensively with Microsoft Access and Excel to provide a very cost effective data acquisition and display system.
