C-FERs Production Department, and Drilling and Completions Department work in areas such as artificial lift; downhole processing; equipment design; multiphase flow; surface operations; sand control; casing and connection design and evaluation; casing deformation analysis; down hole tool evaluation; and risk evaluation in upstream operations.

One of the keys to successfully bringing new technologies to market lies in the ability to perform tests at full scale within a controlled laboratory environment under simulated real world conditions. CFERs world-class laboratory services offer a powerful combination of testing and analysis tools designed to accommodate a vast range of applied research to meet energy industry requirements.
C-FER's lab has been constructed with a high-capacity multi-use reaction floor and a buttressed multi-directional reaction wall. The lab is serviced by a 15 t overhead travelling crane.
Our facility houses an Extreme Climate Chamber, a Special Environments Facility, a Deep Well Similator, a Hyperbaric Pressure Vessel, a Universal Testing System, and a Tubulars Testing System.
