Ecological Engineering.
The restoration of mine waste management areas has been the focus of Boojum Research since it was founded in 1979. To meet the needs of the mining industry, the company has developed processes that provide environmentally sustainable solutions for mine decommissioning. The ecological engineering approach has been implemented in full scale decommissioning at several base metal, coal and uranium mine sites in Canada. Boojum Technologies implements these technologies and processes, and provides services in ecology, plant physiology, microbiology, geochemistry and hydrogeology. Depending on client requirements, Boojum will provide water chemistry diagnostics and environmental interpretation of effluent water data.
