Blow Mold Tooling started in the bottle business 30 years ago, making extrusion blow molds for the emerging plastic bottle industry. However, in today's competitive market specialization is the key to success. We have targeted 2 areas in which to concentrate our efforts.
In 1977, we began developing injection blow molds and over the years we have refined our expertise in this area. Primarily these molds are made for Jomar, Uniloy and Rainville machines but there are some Delta, Nissei, Bekum and Wheaton IBM machines still operating for which molds can be supplied, provided machine specifications are made available. In 1993, we purchased a Jomar 115 machine to enable us to provide our world wide customers with fully tested injection blow molds. In addition to mold testing, we can also provide short runs for labeling and filling line tests, as well as product development. Our team of processors are highly skilled in plastics processing. We are very competent in developing and processing neck finishes, especially those with very tight tolerances used in child resistant closures.
Blow Mold Tooling also designs and manufactures stretch blow molds for the PET process. We offer complete tool sets including blow and preform cavities, injection and conditioning stations with shoes and holder plates for Nissei, AOKI, and Magic machines. Blow cavities and related components are also supplied for RHB type machines such as Cincinnati Milacron, MAG, SIPA, Sidel and Krupp.
All our molds are engineered using the most advanced CAD/CAM systems. Computer technology combined with skilled craftsmanship provides an uncompromising service to the industry. High quality at competitive prices has become our trademark in the international blow mold market.
