The Black Forest Restaurant is located halfway between Calgary and Vancouver, and makes a perfect lunch stop location for group travel. Located right on the Trans Canada Highway 5 minutes past Revelstoke going west. The restaurant is owned and operated by Kurt & Jo-Anne Amsler, who have been in the service industry since 1960. We cater specifically to the Group Travel for lunch or dinner, and have some excellent recommendations. Our restaurant is listed with CAA/AAA, WHERE TO EAT IN CANADA, ONE OF THE 500 BEST IN THE NORTH WEST OF CANADA & UNITED STATES. We have also received numerous awards for our excellent food and service. The decor of the restaurant is a European chalet type, with a beautiful view of the snow capped mountains. We have a lot of birds around the restaurant and if you are lucky even a bear or a deer on the lawn. Our chef is Swiss and well educated in continental cuisine.
