Bernard Perreten Architecture Inc. is a full service architectural firm specializing in the design of Health Care Facilities. Since our establishment in 1978 Bernard Perreten Architecture Inc. has enjoyed a strong track record of completed public and private buildings. Commissions include hospitals, special care homes, multi-level care facilities and private homes for people with disabilities. We have won several awards for our health care designs, including the 1981 Williams Lake Senior Citizens Housing Award for the design of the Williams Lake Senior Citizens Residence, and the 1996 Royal City Builders Award for the design of the William Rudd House Special Care Residence in New Westminster.
Bernard Perreten Architecture Inc. has designed many notable facilities in British Columbia. We recently completed the Cormorant Island Community Health Centre, a hospital and multi-level care home on First Nations Reserve Land. (For this project we formed an association with Larry McFarland Architects Ltd.) We also designed The Fair Haven Multi-Level Care Facility and The Fair Haven Seniors Residence in Burnaby, two flagship facilities featured in Provincial Government literature and video presentations.
BPA has designed the renovations and additions to many of British Columbias hospitals and care facilities, including the South Okanagan General Hospital, the Mission Memorial Hospital, the Special Care Unit in Fort St. John, and the Minoru Extended Care and Special Care Facility in Richmond.
