Established in 1997 as an alternative source for bear/animal proof waste containers, Bear Necessities designed, patented and manufactures a cost effective, safe, and easy to use container. On the rear access door, an emergency release chain so that in the event of a child becoming accidentally trapped, escape is possible. All product is fabricated from 100 per cent 12 gauge galvaneal with automobile paint applied by the electrostratic process. The interior of all units is sealed with a rubber lining to prevent corrosion and extending the life of the units. Our hydraulic activated commercial units are designed to maximize volume capacity and readily interface with existing side load waste transfer vehicles.
