Barry J. Hobin & Associates is committed to the integration of technology into architectural practice. Detailed design and production are fully computerized utilizing the latest release of AutoCAD. Project scheduling and tracking is aided by Microsoft Project. Electronic mail and file exchange are provided to each workstation via a high speed connection to the Internet.
In-house scanning and printing/plotting capabilities permit the continuous production of high quality presentation materials as a project evolves, and the creation of a fully integrated digital project archive. Large volume print jobs are performed by our reprographics consultant via the Internet to alleviate internal congestion.
A comprehensive implementation of CAD standards ensures consistency across all working drawings and saves time in their creation and revision. A fully integrated block library further enhances the production process, eliminating redundant linework.
3D Visualization.
Our design and production personnel take advantage of three dimensional modeling software to aid in the design process. We are able to produce photo-realistic 3D renderings and animations in addition to massing studies and sun shadow studies in-house using Accurender, SketchUp and FormZ.
