BW Technologies Ltd. was established in 1986 as a Canadian-
based gas monitor manufacturer. Based in Calgary, Alberta with
representatives in Canada, the United States, Europe and other
selected markets, the company and its product line have grown
significantly. The majority of the manufacturing is done at the
Calgary production facility. BW motto is 'Innovation in Gas
Monitoring' and this is shown in the extensive and broadly based
product line.
BW Technologies is an industry leader in gas detector
performance. The firm's technology is used successfully to
monitor Combustible Gas and Oxygen levels, as well as levels of
toxic gases such as Ammonia, Carbon Monoxide, Chlorine, Hydrogen
Chloride, Hydrogen Cyanide, Hydrogen Sulphide, Nitric Oxide,
Nitrogen Dioxide, Sulphur Dioxide, Chlorine Dioxide, Ethylene
Oxide, Ozone and Phosphine. Powered by the strength of its
research and development efforts, B&W has introduced new and
innovative products such as:
Wireless multiport monitoring systems with radio/telemetry
link;
Single point stand-alone gas alarm systems utilizing solar
power;
Intrinsically safe, 4-20 mA systems for use in hazardous
locations;
Personal toxic monitors with transmitting options;
Mini personal monitors that operate for one full year with no
maintenance required;
Multiple gas portables for oxygen, combustible and toxic
gases.
