Our company philosophy reflects a desire to achieve open communication with our customers. The cost effective nature of these products along with their recent acceptance in Europe will result in a large, growing market for BTM's products and services. We are an export oriented company with sales outside of Canada accounting for ninety-five percent of our revenues. Approximately ninety percent of our total sales is to the United States. The company is well placed to take advantage of this new market, while continuing successful participation in established markets throughout North America.
BTM is well respected in the automotive industry, due to our expertise in designing and building specialized moulds used in the production of automotive exterior lighting (i. e.: headlamp lens, housings, reflectors, sidemarkers and tailamps). We are also well recognized in the houseware industry as BTM moulds are used by the manufacturers of various products from air conditioners to plastic caulking tubes.

BTM Tooling has CAD, CAM and mold flow simulation computer capabilities linking (11) CNC machining centers and (4) CNC EDM's to manufacture our molds. Our Quality Department has (2) CMM co-ordinate checking machines (1 manual and 1 DCC with a laser scanner attached) to certify our work.
BTM Tooling Inc. has and is currently involved with our customers in research and development projects. We are involved in feasibility and development of new products/processes sharing our tooling expertise with our customers. BTM, over the years has developed a niche market in the Automotive exterior/interior lighting business.
In our manufacturing facilities, BTM is able to offer a variety of conventional and technologically advanced services (i. e.: mould trials, mould flow/cool analysis, 5-axis machining, laser CMM scanning, etc.). High-Tech computers allow BTM the advantage of computer design and manufacturing along with closer customer contact. Our CAD facilities are complemented with CAM capability on the production floor, the latest CNC EDM and CMM equipment is also part of BTM's manufacturing strength.
BTM has the ability to hi speed machine and polish optics in- house and verify the accuracy of the steel surfaces vs. the math data via laser scanner capabilities.

BTM Tooling Inc. has many roots in the plastic injection mould building back to the early sixties building tools for the model kit toy business. BTM, over many years has successfully built moulds for washer/dryers, air conditioners, toilets, toys and automobile components (interior/exterior). BTM is very proud of the many past BTM employees who have become successful owners/managers of other mould shops.
Our management team, in conjunction with Ford Motor Company, designed and produced one of the first moulds for a plastic headlamp for use on a production car.
