Service Offering BLCT Consulting Business Leadership, Change and Technology Service Offerings We have defined a set of offerings that position where we can bring value to an organization and they are the following: Business Leadership This service offering is related to creating an environment in which change can succeed and intended business results can be achieved. It is a means of preparing the Executive and their business leaders to work together towards a shared vision and strategy. Through facilitation, we guide the organization to a shared vision and align their planning and thinking to that vision. Transition Planning and Implementation This service offering supports the planning and implementation required by an organization faced with making a significant change. This change may be a technology implementation, consolidation such as merging similar functions, cost cutting, outsourcing, huge growth, organization renewal and/or organization restructuring. Planning will help an organization develop a transition plan to achieve their intended business results and close the gap between their current and preferred future state. Transition planning is a high level effort that puts a framework around the change and provides leadership with the magnitude of the gap giving some sense of timing, cost and scope. It can identify any required technology change, whether business processes will be affected, what impact will result from a cultural perspective and whether any organizational redesign is required. Implementation relates to the effort required by an organization to detail and act on simplifying operations and improving efficiencies and effectiveness while striving to maintain productivity. This is a disciplined approach for achieving the benefits and successfully transitioning to the preferred future state. Managing Business Change This service offering will prepare an organization facing a wide range of business change situations with varying degrees of magnitude and complexity. It is a formal approach for mobilizing both individuals and groups at all organizational levels. It will assess and validate the organization's change readiness and its capacity for change. Barriers to succeeding with change will be identified and steps to overcome the resistance will be prepared in detailed action plans. Communications will be a key component to managing business change and communication events and milestones will be integrated throughout the project plan. It will also involve identifying and assessing stakeholders and developing plans that enroll and involve them at all critical junctures and milestones. Program Management Office This service offering is related to the setup of a Program Management Office (PMO) for an organization wishing to manage several related initiatives in a consistent and integrated manner or for managing a complex, enterprise wide project. A PMO will support common functions across various initiatives, monitor progress against plan and budget and direct day-to-day activities of the Program Office. Delivery Assurance Our delivery assurance offering provides an independent review of an on-going project. It can be established at the start of a project where certain key milestones will be reviewed independently to provide a Quality Assurance report on where the project stands against objectives, cost, benefits acquisition and schedule. Another aspect of this offering is that it can be instituted at any stage of a project to provide an independent assessment of the condition of the project.
