BIRC Corporation
The BIRC Corporation fosters the development of the biopharmaceutical industry in British Columbia through its investments in industry supporting infrastructure. BIRC's focus is the development of contract research organizations (CRO's) providing drug discovery services, pre-clinical development services, and phase I clinical studies. BIRC will invest in projects where a demonstrated need for the service exists in the province. Investments may include new company start ups as well as assisting existing organizations in the development of new services. Minimum investment is $250,000.
