Expediting And Logistic Support BBE is on call 24-hours a day, 7 days a week to support our clients whenever the need arises. Our expeditors help clients who need an immediate response when emergencies arise from replacing parts when breakdowns occur on drilling rigs, to essential equipment for mining machinery, to rush parts for unserviceable aircraft or special orders of groceries for exploration camps. BBE provides the link between suppliers and remote locations across the North when time is critical. BBE knows the North, its infrastructure limitations and the logistical support required to operate in harsh and isolated environments. Our logistics specialists provide project planning, technical support, and the staff and equipment to implement our clients work plans. From chartering aircraft to building ice runways, BBE can support your logistical needs.

Air Cargo Handling BBE provides air cargo handling services at the Edmonton International Airport for many regional, national and international air carriers. BBE operates a 24,000 square foot cargo handling facility with all the necessary equipment to process any cargo. Highly trained BBE staff answer telephones, accept cargo, upload database updates, arrange deliveries, prepare loads for the flights and represent the commercial interests of our customers within the Edmonton air cargo community. Whether its coming to the North, or going south, BBE is the number one handler of cargo in the north-south corridor.

Freight Consolidation And Forwarding BBE maintains strong relationships with established air, land and sea transportation suppliers and shippers throughout the world so you dont have to. This means you have access to BBEs buying power and lower costs, without having to look after the details. Another way we save you the headaches. Through our preferred cargo connections, we get your freight from anywhere in the world to the North. Whether your freight is in Chile or Chicago, we know the key suppliers and can coordinate all of the details of the transportation from source to site. BBEs worldwide freight forwarding services include customs clearance facilitation and cargo consolidation through our relationships with major international freight forwarding companies. Access to the resources of these carriers allows us to find the best service and rates for our clients while eliminating the hassles along the way. At BBE we save our clients time and money by consolidating small shipments into full sea containers, full truckloads or full air cargo containers. This process of consolidation increases transportation efficiency, reduces damage and loss and ensures greater control over the movement of goods. Clients shipping large volumes of freight to and from the North have found substantial and ongoing savings when consolidating their shipments into full loads through BBE. Savings are passed along to our clients through our bulk purchasing rates for transportation services with air, land and sea suppliers. Customs Clearance Facilitation BBEs cargo services, located at the Edmonton International Airport, can facilitate customs clearance activities with your brokers or help you find one to meet the needs of your business. BBE works with all major customs brokers operating in Alberta, so well help get the paperwork done and signed, speeding the customs clearance process

Aircraft Ground Handling Over the years BBE has developed an enviable track record for ground handling and loading all types of aircraft safely and efficiently, while maximizing the available customer payload on behalf of our clients. We know, each planes operational capabilities and how much weight they can carry. We also know our customers want their charters to depart with maximum payload. At BBE we pride ourselves on the fact we safely handle 1,800 flights per year in Yellowknife. BBE plans the loads, stages the cargo and makes sure staff is adequately trained to meet all air carrier and government regulations for safe handling of flights.

Passenger And Baggage Handling BBE operates its own passenger terminal at the Yellowknife Airport and supplies resource clients with passenger check-in and baggage handling services that meets their needs. Highly trained staff understand client and air carrier requirements and government regulations associated with processing passengers and their baggage. BBE has expanded its terminal facilities to meet the increasing demand for larger aircraft used by our resource clients. We safely and efficiently handle in excess of 42,000 passengers annually through our Yellowknife facility.

Warehousing And Storage BBE owns and operates large warehouse facilities in both Edmonton and Yellowknife and the integral links in the supply chain between these two key cities. Situated at the local airports, these warehouses are equipped with all aircraft and cargo handling equipment required to support our clients. From these facilities we offer warehousing, storage and material management services to complement and support other services we provide. We safely and securely store it, stage it and prepare your cargo until you are ready to have it shipped.
