The primary objective of Azure Control Systems, a division of Azure Software Limited, is to provide quality products in a timely fashion. Azure is committed to providing excellent service and products to its customers and to develop innovative software solutions which satisfy established requirements.
Azure was formed in 1988 to provide consulting services in the areas of real-time process control and data communications. Since its inception, Azure has taken on progressively larger and more complex projects and now provides entire systems solutions.
Azure's area of expertise include:
and signalling systems (fixed and moving block), for the purposes of training, system testing, and timetable validation.
and management algorithms, train routing and scheduling, human- machine interfaces, device interfaces, and data collection and reporting.
technology, and synchronous and asynchronous protocols in train control and telecommunications applications.
Azure has experience in all phases of system development from requirements specification, analysis and design to testing and system maintenance. This gives a broad perspective of systems development and a commitment to quality throughout the process.

RailNET is an advanced train control system that provides non-vital control and supervision of railway signalling systems (eg., as used for rapid transit systems and for light rail systems). Within an Automatic Train Control (ATC) environment that provides Automatic Train Protection (ATP), Automatic Train Operation (ATO), and Automatic Train Supervision (ATS), the RailNET system provides complete ATS functionality.
When RailNET is deployed in conjunction with vital wayside / trainborne signalling systems (ATP) and wayside /trainborne train operation systems (ATO), the end result is a complete and automated railway management system. RailNET consists of the following components: The RailNET Automatic Train Management System (ATMS), and the RailNET Simulation and Training System (STS).
The RailNET hardware and software is based upon a distributed architecture that permits the relocation of the system's functionality to meet the requirements of the end-user. In addition, the RailNET software is based upon open system principles that promotes system adaptability to function in various environments: the RailNET system can be deployed into an existing rail/transit line that is being retro-fitted, deployed in conjunction with the development of a new line, or deployed in a hybrid system of an existing and a new line.
