Atlantic WebFitters is a Nova Scotia based developer and distributor of Browser-Based Software. This emerging technology allows organizations to establish Internet websites, corporate Intranets, information portals and storefront delivery systems. Companies maintain the content of these systems easily and quickly without specialized computer skills.

The company was founded by Gifford Watkins. Sam MacDonald is the Chief Technology Officer, and joined the company in 2005. Gifford and Sam teamed up to develop easy-to-use Portal Software. The portal software framework is scalable for business expansion through the use of modules, and gained popularity for eliminating the need for expensive desktop software and programmers.

Customers of Atlantic Webfitters include Acadia University, Overhead Door Corp., Arthur Irving Academy for the Environment, North American Benthological Society, Independent Roofing and Contracting, Inc., and DLT Specialty Valves.

Atlantic Webfitters started as the first Portal Software company on Canada's East Coast. Within twelve months, Atlantic Webfitters was operating in Bermuda, Halifax and Toronto, and had expanded CMS WebPortal to include for Sales Chain, Storefront and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Modules.
