Environmental Products And Services
Design And Construction Of Urban Water Supply Treatment Plants.
Emphasis has been placed on a process which the company pioneered using high-rate solids separation and particulate removal via self-cleaning settling tubes and multi-media filtration systems.
This has effectively doubled the capacity of many existing plants with no physical expansion and with significant cost savings. Also pioneered were Canadian applications of variable declining rate filtration, which enables the production of a very high quality treated water, while eliminating complex flow control equipment. A significant amount of work into the removal and destruction of Giardia lambia has recently been undertaken.
Recent pilot studies have included advanced technologies such as dissolved air flotation and ozonation.
