Mechanically Cleaned Bar Screens.
Bar Screens are front-cleaned, front return, self-cleaning mechanical screens for the separation and removal of solid wastes from municipal and industrial flow systems. Screens are constructed of stainless or galvanized steel. No moving parts come into liquid contact.
Screens are available for applications covering a wide range of flow rates and channel dimensions. Channel liquid depths from 450-2,000 mm can be accommodated, with slot widths ranging from 6-100 mm.
The Bar Screen control system is designed and manufactured to provide variable cycle operation. Continuous rake operation can be incorporated as well as the complete range of functional control for any associated equipment.
Spiral Dewatering Press.
The press uses a shaftless spiral to maximize capacity, while reducing clogging, to enable continuous, trouble free dewatering. The press is proven for solid/liquid separation in both municipal treatment plants and industrial applications.
The standard press arrangement is a 200 mm diameter shaftless screw inclined at 30 degrees, supplied with a direct coupled, constant speed gearmotor and local electrical control panel. Customized arrangements are available offering multiple inlet points, extended trough lengths, portable units, plant retro-fits and integration into new and existing conveying systems and control networks.
Shaftless Screw Conveyors.
A rugged, shaftless spiral is housed in an enclosed U trough. Elimination of the shaft results in higher performance and lower maintenance. These conveyors are used in both municipal and industrial applications.
Design is customized to meet project specifications. Spiral screw diameters, pitch, thickness, length and inclination are determined by the type and quantity of material to be conveyed. Screw rotational speed is determined by the application capacity and loading requirements.
Replacement Parts Manufactured In Enhanced Materials, Or Of Superior Design.
Arlat has the expertise to trouble-shoot field problems and design replacement parts to compensate for or eliminate pump operating problems. These parts are custom made to suit the customers requirements.
Use Of Chain And Flight Clarifiers.
Chain and flight clarification equipment is mounted in rectangular tanks into which aerated municipal wastewater is fed. The action of the flights is to scrape the sludge, which settles to the bottom, to one end, where it is collected and transferred to the digestors. The returning flights travel along the surface of the tank, skimming all the scum which floats, into a trough, or some other device to allow removal.
