Environmental Products And Services
Lime Softening, Filtration And Reuse Of The Cooling Tower Blowdown Water.
Water is lime softened and returned to the power plant for re-use. Sludge is dewatered, pressed into 'cake' and disposed of in a landfill.
Ion Exchange.
Ion exchange resins that favour the absorption of lead and other heavy metals can be effective, depending on background species, in removal of those metals from waste streams.
Strong base anion exchange resins will remove iron from hydrochloric acid solutions. Regeneration is accomplished with water.
