Amy's accounting education began at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology ( N A I T ), where she obtained a Diploma in Business Administration - specializing in Accounting, where she also achieved the Dean's Honor List; In 2000, Amy earned her Certified General Accountant Designation and also passed rigorous uniform exam for American CPA; subsequently, she obtained her CPA certificate in 2004.
Amy began her accounting career by working in a local Chartered Accountants firm; Then she moved to Cadlink Technology Corp. as an accountant; After that, she advanced her career into Computer Science Canada working on Nortel Network's account as a senior Financial Analyst; Since 2002, Amy has been focusing on her public practice. Meanwhile she performed internal auditing services for government.
During year 2001 to 2003, Amy was actively involved in Ottawa Chapter Board of Certified General Accountants of Ontario. As a Board director, she helped to organize, plan and coordinate professional seminars as well as provided tax services to students and low -income earners. In 2003, she was awarded for the outstanding service on Ottawa Chapter Board. Amy also a member of International Toastmaster club. She enjoys public speech and other activities in the club.
